The graph depicts drug-related deaths by age in 1996. The vertical axis is number of deaths in thousands. One hundred twenty deaths were reported from the 6-17 year old age group; 825 deaths were reported amongst those 18-25; 2090 were reported from those ages 26-34 and 6399 was reported by those 35 and older.
